Nut roaster, coffee roaster and spice shop at 13041 West Warren Avenue, founded in Dearborn in 1985 by Al Hashem; the family's first shop opened in Bint Jbeil, Lebanon, in 1959. Owner Adam Hashem told Metromode in 2017 that the company roasts and grinds in its own Michigan facilities, supplies spice blends to about half the region's Middle Eastern restaurants, and runs four stores including a Dearborn Heights market with a meat counter. The shelves carry coffee, nuts, herbs, Lebanese candies, baklava, dried fruit, olive oil and pickles, and it sells online at hashems.com.
Grocer rather than a restaurant; its website lists certified halal meat, fish and gummies among its product categories.
