The street

Questions people ask
Where does Warren Avenue's food strip start and end?
The City of Dearborn defines the Warren Avenue business corridor as running from Greenfield Road on the west to Wyoming Avenue on the east, in East Dearborn. Wyoming is the Detroit city line. The Arab American News describes it as a roughly 2.5-mile corridor.
Which direction do the addresses run?
West Warren follows the Detroit grid, so address numbers get higher as you go west. The 10000s are at the Detroit end near Wyoming; the 15000s are at the Greenfield end. This guide runs east to west, so the numbers climb as you read.
Is Warren Avenue being rebuilt?
Yes. The city received $24.8 million in federal Safe Streets funding in 2023 for a two-mile redesign between Wyoming and Greenfield, with options including a three-lane road diet, wider sidewalks and outdoor cafes. Final design was expected in fall 2026. A separate facade program has paid for storefront renovations, including Al-Ameer and Cedarland, completed in May 2026.
Where do I park?
Each business has a small lot beside or behind it, and there is street parking on the side streets. Lots fill on weekend evenings. No official parking count for the corridor has been published.
