House of Chimney Cakes

House of Chimney Cakes is a dessert shop on Michigan Avenue in West Dearborn that bakes Hungarian-style chimney cakes in a display window and fills them with soft-serve ice cream and toppings. Owner Elizabeth Fardoun told WDIV in 2024 that the shop added croffles, croissants pressed in a waffle iron, in flavors from strawberries and cream to jalapeno cheddar, along with Dubai chocolate bars. Visit Detroit lists it among the region's top dessert spots.
