Is bb.q Chicken halal?

No halal claim

bb.q Chicken makes no halal claim on its US website. Its menu and About pages do not mention halal chicken or any certifier.

The longer answer

We read bb.q Chicken's US menu page and About page in October 2026. Neither mentions halal. The About page explains that the name stands for "Best of the Best Quality" and describes a chain founded in 1995 with more than 3,500 locations worldwide. The site has no FAQ page that we could reach.

The menu page does not list ingredients for each item. Its allergy notice names eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, shellfish, sesame, soy, tree nuts and wheat. It does not say where the chicken comes from or how it is slaughtered.

The US site offers franchising, so restaurants are run by different operators. We found no company statement about individual halal locations.

What to check before you order

There is no company halal claim. If a particular franchise says it is halal, ask to see the certificate for its chicken and ask whether it serves alcohol or pork items.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
