Is Biggby Coffee halal?
It depends on the store. Biggby makes no chain-wide halal claim and sells bacon, ham and sausage sandwiches, but some Michigan franchise locations have offered halal meat.
The longer answer
Biggby's food menu (checked October 2026) lists Bragel sandwiches including Sausage, Egg and Cheese, Ham and Cheese, Bacon, Egg and Cheese, Turkey Bacon Cheddar and Turkey Havarti, alongside bagels, muffins and cookies. The menu page does not mention halal.
Some franchise stores are different. A Biggby press release from October 2014 about its East Dearborn, Michigan store described the Dabaja family as the first Biggby franchisees to serve halal meat products and said the new store would feature halal Bragel sandwiches. It quoted franchisee Hassan Dabaja: "We are greatly pleased that BIGGBY accommodated our community's requests."
Zabihah.com, a community listing site, lists a Biggby in Troy, Michigan as halal and says a halal sign is visible on the premises. That is a user-driven listing, not a company statement, and it does not name a certifier. We found no current corporate list of halal Biggby stores.
What to check before you order
Assume a Biggby is a standard store unless it displays a halal sign. At stores that do, ask which meats are halal, who supplies them, and whether pork bacon, ham and sausage are still prepared on the same equipment.
