Is BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse halal?
BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse makes no halal claim. It is a brewhouse with craft beer at the center of the brand, and its menu flags items that may contain pork.
The longer answer
BJ's FAQ page (checked October 2026) does not mention halal or kosher food, and we found no halal statement or certifier on the company's site.
The menu page carries the note "+May contain pork." for marked items, and its categories include Baby Back Pork Ribs and bacon burgers. The menu also states that "Not all ingredients are listed on the menu."
BJ's is a brewhouse: the site promotes its craft beer and has its own beer section. The menu does not say how the beef or chicken is sourced or slaughtered.
What to check before you order
The meat is not sold as halal. For seafood, pizza or vegetarian dishes, look for the pork marker on the menu and ask whether beer or wine is used in the sauce or batter.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
