Is Bob Evans halal?

No halal claim

Bob Evans restaurants make no halal claim. The menu is built around the brand's own pork sausage, with bacon and ham on most breakfast plates.

The longer answer

We found no halal statement on the Bob Evans restaurant website (checked October 2026). The site has no customer FAQ page, and its About Us and Contact pages do not mention halal or kosher food.

The breakfast menu shows how central pork is. Items listed include the Double Meat Farmer's Choice with "Bob Evans sausage and hardwood-smoked bacon", The Big Wrangler Breakfast with sausage gravy, bacon and "hickory-smoked ham", and biscuit sandwiches with sausage and bacon. Sausage gravy is also served over biscuits and as a dipping side.

The menu does not say how the chicken, turkey or beef is sourced or slaughtered.

What to check before you order

Nothing on the menu is sold as halal. If you order eggs, hotcakes or sides, ask for no sausage, bacon or ham and ask whether they are cooked on the same griddle as the pork.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
