Is Church's Texas Chicken halal?
Church's Texas Chicken makes no halal claim for its US restaurants.
The longer answer
The Church's Texas Chicken US site (checked October 2026) does not mention halal. Halal Monitoring Services' guide (updated September 2026) says HMS has not inspected or certified Church's Chicken and lists its status as not verified. We found no corporate statement, named certifier or documented halal location in the United States. The brand's restaurants in other countries run through separate country sites, and any halal status there does not apply to US restaurants.
What to check before you order
There is no brand halal claim to check. If a location says its meat is halal, ask to see the supplier's halal certificate.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
