Is Elevation Burger halal?
Elevation Burger's site makes no halal statement, and past company statements about its beef and chicken do not agree.
The longer answer
Elevation Burger's own site (checked October 2026) describes organic, grass-fed beef and does not mention halal. In 2014 a managing partner told the Hyattsville Wire the chain had offered halal-certified beef for several years. A business representative answering on Yelp about eight years ago said its beef and chicken are halal certified at slaughter. Zabihah's chain page now quotes the corporate office as saying it sources halal-certified chicken only and that its organic beef is no longer halal certified, a decision made under FAT Brands ownership. No certifier is named in any of these.
What to check before you order
Ask the location which meats are currently halal and ask to see the certificate; the most recent statement we found covers chicken only, not beef.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
