Is First Watch halal?

No halal claim

First Watch makes no halal claim. Its FAQ does not mention halal, and the menu includes bacon, pork sausage and ham alongside turkey and chicken sausage.

The longer answer

First Watch's FAQ page (checked October 2026) does not mention halal or kosher food, and we found no halal statement or certifier on the company's site.

The menu includes several pork items: Million Dollar Bacon, Hardwood Smoked Bacon, Pork Sausage Links, Smoked Ham, a Ham and Gruyere Melt and a Maple Bacon Croissant Sandwich. It also lists Turkey Sausage Links, Chicken Apple Sausage Patties and a turkey sausage gravy, but the company does not say that any of these are halal.

What to check before you order

Turkey or chicken sausage here is not sold as halal. For egg, pancake or vegetarian dishes, ask for no bacon or ham and ask whether they share a griddle with the pork.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
