Is IHOP halal?
IHOP makes no halal claim on its official US site.
The longer answer
IHOP's official FAQ (checked October 2026) covers company history, locations, the menu, gift cards and rewards and does not mention halal. Halal Monitoring Services' guide (updated September 2026) says HMS has not inspected or certified IHOP and lists its status as not verified. We found no brand or news documentation of a halal IHOP in the United States. The breakfast meats carry no halal statement and are cooked in the same kitchen as other items.
What to check before you order
There is no halal claim to check. If ordering pancakes or eggs, ask whether they can be cooked on a cleaned section of the griddle.
