Is Jason's Deli halal?
Jason's Deli makes no halal claim. Its menu includes ham, bacon, pepperoni and salami, and its meatballs are listed as pork and beef.
The longer answer
Jason's Deli's FAQ page (checked October 2026) deals with online ordering, Deli Dollars rewards and group orders. It does not mention halal, and we found no halal statement or certifier on the FAQ or the menu.
The menu shows pork across the sandwich range. The Deli Club has ham and bacon, the Spicy Sicilian Sub has pepperoni, salami and ham, and several chicken and turkey sandwiches come with bacon. The Penne Pasta and Meatballs is described with "meatballs (pork and beef)".
Jason's Deli describes its grilled chicken as "100% antibiotic-free chicken breast", which is a statement about how the birds were raised and not about slaughter. Nothing on the menu is described as halal.
What to check before you order
Check each sandwich description for bacon, which is added to several chicken and turkey items. Ask about shared slicers and prep areas if that matters to you, and note that the meatballs contain pork.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
