Is Johnny Rockets halal?
Johnny Rockets makes no halal claim for its US restaurants. Its US nutrition guide lists bacon burgers and does not mention halal. Some overseas franchises describe halal menus.
The longer answer
Johnny Rockets' US menu page and its 2026 nutritional guide (checked October 2026) do not mention halal. The guide lists Certified Angus Beef burgers with patty choices of beef, turkey, grilled chicken and two plant-based options, along with bacon items such as the Bacon Cheddar Burger, Bacon Cheese Fries and Bacon Cheese Tots.
Outside the US the picture differs by franchise. When the brand opened in Baghdad in October 2023, parent company FAT Brands described that restaurant's menu as including "halal-friendly cooked-to-order burgers". That statement is about one overseas location and does not apply to US restaurants.
We found no halal statement or certifier for any US Johnny Rockets.
What to check before you order
In the US, treat the beef, chicken and turkey as not halal unless a specific restaurant shows you a certificate. If you order a plant-based patty, ask whether it is cooked on the same grill as the meat and bacon.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
