Is Luna Grill halal?
No. Luna Grill's own FAQ says the chain does not have any halal offerings at this time, so its kabobs and other meats are not halal.
The longer answer
Luna Grill's FAQ page (checked October 2026) includes the question "Does Luna Grill serve Halal meals?" The answer given is: "No, Luna Grill does not have any Halal offerings at this time."
That is a direct company statement covering the whole menu. The FAQ does not discuss sourcing or slaughter further.
An article from January 2019 that is still on the company's site refers to "halal lamb kabobs". The current FAQ is the more recent and more direct statement, and it says there are no halal offerings.
What to check before you order
By the company's own statement the meat is not halal. Vegetarian items such as falafel, hummus and salads are the options to look at, and you can ask staff how they are prepared.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
