Is Nick the Greek halal?
Nick the Greek makes no halal claim. Its FAQ covers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options but says nothing about halal meat.
The longer answer
We read Nick the Greek's FAQ and its Our Values page (checked October 2026). Neither mentions halal, and neither says anything about how the meat for its gyros and souvlaki is sourced or slaughtered.
The only dietary answer in the FAQ is: "We offer a variety of vegetarian, vegan-friendly, and gluten-friendly menu options."
We found no halal certification, no halal statement from the company and no location of the chain claiming halal on the pages we could read.
What to check before you order
Treat the meat as not halal unless a specific restaurant can show you otherwise. Falafel and other vegetarian items are available, and you can ask whether they share a grill or fryer with meat.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
