Is PDQ halal?

No halal claim

PDQ makes no halal claim. Its menu and allergen pages do not mention halal chicken or a certifier, and the site does not say how the chicken is sourced.

The longer answer

We read PDQ's menu page and allergen page in October 2026 and found no mention of halal on either. The site has no FAQ page that we could reach.

The menu covers chicken tenders, nuggets, sandwiches and salads. We did not see pork or bacon named on the menu page, though it lists ingredients for only a few items. The allergen page, marked as updated April 2026, says select menu items may contain or come into contact with allergens and asks guests to speak with a team member.

Neither page says where the chicken comes from or how it is slaughtered, so there is nothing to confirm that it is halal.

What to check before you order

Do not assume the chicken is halal because the menu is mostly chicken. Ask the restaurant directly if it claims a halal supplier, and ask to see a certificate.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
