Is Pizza Hut halal?

No halal claim

Pizza Hut makes no halal claim for its US restaurants.

The longer answer

Pizza Hut's US menu and nutrition pages (checked October 2026) list pizzas, wings and sides and say nothing about halal sourcing or certification. Halal Monitoring Services' guide (updated September 2026) says HMS has not inspected or certified Pizza Hut and lists its status as not verified. The concerns for a Muslim customer are the meat toppings and wings, which carry no halal statement, and shared ovens and cutting tools. We found no brand or news documentation of a halal Pizza Hut franchise in the United States; Pizza Hut restaurants in other countries are run by separate operators.

What to check before you order

There is no US halal claim to check. If ordering a cheese or vegetable pizza, ask how it is cut and whether it shares pans with meat pizzas.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
