Is Red Lobster halal?
Red Lobster makes no halal claim; its FAQ does not mention halal and HMS says it has not certified the chain.
The longer answer
Red Lobster's FAQ (checked October 2026) does not mention halal. Halal Monitoring Services' guide page (updated September 18, 2026) says HMS has not inspected or certified Red Lobster and lists its status as not verified. HMS adds that it has not inspected the chain's kitchens, suppliers or ingredients. We found no corporate statement on halal for the seafood, the meat dishes or the cooking ingredients.
What to check before you order
The brand does not claim halal. If you plan to order seafood, ask the restaurant how the dish is cooked and what goes into its sauces and batters.
