Is Roti halal?

Halal, per the brand

Roti says its steak, chicken and salmon are halal and that its suppliers are halal-certified. It does not name the certifier.

The longer answer

Roti's FAQ (checked October 2026) states: "Our steak, chicken, and salmon are Halal. We work with trusted suppliers to ensure our proteins are Halal-certified." Those three are the meat and fish proteins on the menu we read, which also lists falafel.

Roti's menu page offers "Halal" as one of its dietary filters, shown as an icon on certain bowls.

The company does not name a halal certifier or publish a certificate on the pages we read, so this is a company statement about its suppliers. The same FAQ says Roti does not buy kosher meat or dairy and does not keep a kosher kitchen. We saw no pork or alcohol on the menu page.

What to check before you order

The company claim covers steak, chicken and salmon. If you want to know the certifier or the slaughter method, ask the restaurant or contact Roti, since the website does not say.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
