Is Shah's Halal Food halal?
Shah's Halal Food states that all of its dishes are 100% certified halal and publishes its certificates.
The longer answer
Shah's Halal Food's restaurants page (checked October 2026) says all of its food is prepared in its own facility and that each dish is 100% certified halal. Its certifications page lists ISWA halal certifications for 2024 through 2027, IFANCC halal batch certificates, halal product certificates and a certificate of mechanical halal slaughter for 2025 through 2027. The mechanical slaughter certificate matters to shoppers who only eat hand-slaughtered meat.
What to check before you order
Look at the certificates on the brand's certifications page, and note the mechanical slaughter certificate if you require hand slaughter.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
