Is Smoothie King halal?

No halal claim

Smoothie King makes no halal claim. Its site lists whey, plant-based and collagen proteins without stating the source of the collagen, and it publishes no halal information.

The longer answer

Smoothie King's nutrition and ingredients pages (checked October 2026) describe non-GMO fruit, organic vegetables, nonfat milk, natural sweeteners ("Honey, dates, stevia") and three kinds of protein: "Whey, plant-based, and collagen." Neither page says what animal the collagen comes from or how the whey is made, and neither mentions halal, kosher or gelatin.

The company FAQ has no halal question. It points customers to the menu for "nutritional and allergen information for each smoothie."

We found no halal certification for Smoothie King. Collagen is an animal-derived protein, so the unstated source is the main open question for anyone ordering a collagen blend.

What to check before you order

Open the specific smoothie on the menu and look at its listed ingredients and enhancers. Skip collagen blends unless Smoothie King confirms the source, and ask about the whey and any added supplements.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
