Is TGI Fridays halal?
TGI Fridays makes no halal claim for its US restaurants. Its own nutrition guide lists pork pot stickers, bacon, ribs and a whiskey glaze used on several dishes.
The longer answer
TGI Fridays' US FAQ page (checked October 2026) covers the brand, rewards, gift cards, nutrition and allergens. It does not mention halal or kosher at all, and we found no halal statement anywhere else on the company's US site.
The company's allergen and nutrition document for its US menu lists items such as Pan-Seared Pork Stickers, Hickory-Smoked Bacon, a Bacon Cheeseburger, Fridays Big Ribs, and a Whiskey-Glaze that is offered on wings, mozzarella sticks, sesame chicken bites and sirloin. The document lists allergens only. It does not say how the meat is slaughtered or whether the glaze contains alcohol after cooking.
The FAQ also describes the chain's origin as a bar, and alcohol is served in the restaurants.
What to check before you order
Treat the meat as not halal certified. If you eat here, ask about the Whiskey-Glaze, bacon toppings and shared fryers and grills before ordering seafood or vegetarian items.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
