Is Universal Orlando halal?
Universal Orlando is not halal overall, but it says it can provide made-to-order halal meals with at least 4 to 5 days notice and a confirmed dining reservation.
The longer answer
Universal Orlando's Food Allergy Information page (checked October 2026) has a Religious Accommodations section that says: "We are pleased to provide Kosher or Halal menu options for our Guests." It continues that "these meals are made to order and require at least 4-5 days advance notice and a confirmed dining reservation with number of people in your party needing each meal."
The contact given on the page is Food.Allergy@universalorlando.com. Universal does not list which restaurants take part and notes: "Participating locations and menu items for Kosher and Halal accommodations are subject to change." The page does not name a halal certifier or supplier, and it does not describe how the meals are prepared.
The regular park and hotel menus are not halal. The same page says guests are welcome to bring their own food, in a soft-sided cooler with no glass, and that Universal does not have separate food preparation facilities for allergen-free cooking.
What to check before you order
Email Food.Allergy@universalorlando.com at least 5 days ahead with your dining reservation and party size. Ask which restaurants can serve the halal meal, who supplies or certifies it, and how it is prepared. You can also bring your own food.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
