Is Which Wich halal?
Which Wich makes no halal claim in the US. Its menu has a full Ham and Pork section, and its FAQ says the cheese may contain animal rennet.
The longer answer
Which Wich's FAQ (checked October 2026) answers vegetarian, vegan and gluten questions in detail but does not mention halal. We found no halal statement or certifier on its FAQ or menu pages.
The menu is organised by protein and includes a "Ham & Pork" category with the Bac Hammon, BBQ Pork, BLT, Cuban and Ham sandwiches, alongside turkey, beef, chicken, seafood and vegetarian sections. Which Wich does not describe any of its meats as halal.
On cheese, the FAQ says of its vegetarian sandwiches: "The cheese may contain animal rennet, but they can be made without it upon request." It also notes that menu items may vary by location and that ingredient sourcing can change, and it advises checking with the local store for specific ingredient questions.
What to check before you order
Vegetarian options such as the Black Bean Avocado avoid the meat question, and you can ask for no cheese given the rennet note. Ask how the sandwich is toasted and prepared, since pork items are made at the same counter.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
