Is Zaxby's halal?
Zaxby's makes no halal claim on its official site.
The longer answer
The Zaxby's home page (checked October 2026) does not mention halal, and its FAQ address returned an error page when we tried it. Halal Monitoring Services' guide (updated September 2026) says HMS has not inspected or certified Zaxby's and lists its status as not verified. We found no corporate statement, named certifier or documented halal location. The chicken should be treated as conventionally sourced unless a location can show otherwise.
What to check before you order
There is no brand halal claim to check. If a location says its meat is halal, ask to see the supplier's halal certificate.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
