Is Fever-Tree halal?

No halal claim

Fever-Tree says its products are not certified halal. Its ginger beer is sold as non-alcoholic, and its UK FAQ says flavorings may leave trace alcohol under 0.5% ABV.

The longer answer

Fever-Tree's US FAQ (checked October 2026) answers the question directly: "Fever-Tree products are not certified Halal or Kosher." The same FAQ says "All Fever-Tree products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans."

The US product page describes Premium Ginger Beer as a "non-alcoholic Ginger Beer" made by "brewing our signature blend of three gingers". The ingredients listed are carbonated water, sugar, ginger root, natural ginger flavoring with other natural flavorings, tartaric acid and ascorbic acid. The page gives no alcohol percentage.

The company's UK FAQ goes further on alcohol. It says all products are alcohol-free except two ready-to-drink spritz products sold there, and adds: "Because some flavours use ethanol as a carrier, trace levels (<0.5% ABV) may be present." That statement is on the UK site. We did not find the same wording on the US FAQ.

What to check before you order

There is no halal logo on Fever-Tree. If trace alcohol from flavorings matters to you, note the company's own under 0.5% ABV statement and decide accordingly.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
