Is Gatorade halal?

No halal claim

Gatorade makes no halal claim; its FAQ covers kosher certification only.

The longer answer

Gatorade's official FAQ (checked October 2026) does not mention halal.

It does say that Gatorade Thirst Quencher, G2 and Gatorade Zero ready-to-drink and powder varieties are kosher certified (look for the circled U), and that Gatorade protein and energy products are not kosher certified.

Kosher certification is not halal certification, and we found no halal certifier named for any Gatorade product.

What to check before you order

For the standard drinks, read the ingredient list; nothing on the label is halal-certified. Check protein bars, shakes and energy products separately, since Gatorade says those are not kosher certified either.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
