Drinks

Is KeVita halal?

No halal claim

KeVita makes no halal claim on its product pages. Its drinks are fermented, and its Master Brew Kombucha is labeled "Verified Non-Alcoholic".

The longer answer

KeVita's page for Master Brew Kombucha (checked October 2026) says the drink is fermented with kombucha tea cultures and describes it as "Verified Non-Alcoholic". The page does not give a percentage figure.

The page for Sparkling Probiotic Refresher says that drink is fermented with a water kefir culture, made "by fermenting kefir culture grains in water with sugar", and that fermented water kefir is the base of KeVita's sparkling probiotic drinks and apple cider vinegar tonics.

We found no halal statement or certification on the KeVita pages we read, and we could not find a company FAQ that addresses it.

What to check before you order

These are fermented drinks. Check the bottle for the non-alcoholic wording and decide based on your own view of trace alcohol from fermentation.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
