Is Bomb Pop halal?
Bomb Pop makes no halal claim. Its ice pops are water, sugar and corn syrup with plant gums, and none of the product pages we read lists gelatin or carmine.
The longer answer
Bomb Pop's FAQ (checked October 2026) does not mention halal or kosher. It covers colors, food safety, gluten, GMOs and allergens, and says recipes began moving from artificial colors to "Colors from Natural Sources" in April 2026.
The Original Bomb Pop lists water, sugar, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, guar gum, cellulose gum, xanthan gum, cellulose gel, tara gum, carrageenan, carob bean gum, and spirulina extract, turmeric extract and vegetable juice for color. We read all 14 product pages on bombpop.com and none lists gelatin, carmine or alcohol. Other flavors list beet extract and fruit and vegetable juice for color.
The flavors are not broken down on the label. Bomb Pop is made by Wells Enterprises, and we found no halal certification claim from the brand.
What to check before you order
Read the ingredient list on the box, since old and new recipes are both on sale during the color change. "Natural and artificial flavors" are not broken down.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
