Is Centrum halal?

No halal claim

Centrum makes no halal claim in the US. The Centrum Adults tablet label we read lists no gelatin, but we could not confirm the ingredients of its gummies.

The longer answer

Centrum's US FAQ (checked October 2026) says nothing about gelatin sources, halal, kosher or vegetarian status. Its only related statement is about fish: "The Multi + Omega-3 products contain highly-refined fish oil made from tuna."

We read the current Centrum Adults tablet label on the leaflet site run by Centrum's maker, Haleon. Its ingredient list starts with calcium carbonate, dibasic calcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium oxide, and no gelatin appears anywhere in the list. That applies to that one product only.

The Centrum MultiGummies Adults product page does not list ingredients and says nothing about gelatin or pectin. It links to a label file that we were unable to open, so we cannot say what the gummies are set with. We found no halal certification for any US Centrum product.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient list on the exact Centrum product, since tablets, MultiGummies and omega-3 products differ. If gelatin is listed, the source is not stated on Centrum's site, so ask Haleon through the Centrum help center.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
