Is Ferrero Rocher halal?
Ferrero Rocher sold in the US carries no halal claim on its US website. The listed ingredients show no gelatin or alcohol, and the US FAQ does not mention halal.
The longer answer
The US Ferrero Rocher website lists these ingredients for the classic 3 piece pack (checked October 2026): milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, skim milk powder, butteroil, soy lecithin, vanillin), hazelnuts, sugar, palm oil, wheat flour, whey, lowfat cocoa powder, soy lecithin, sodium bicarbonate, salt and vanillin. No gelatin, alcohol or animal fat other than dairy is listed. The source of the whey is not described.
The Ferrero Rocher US FAQ does not address halal, and we found no halal statement or certifier for the US product on that site.
Outside the US, a Ferrero executive for the Gulf countries told Salaam Gateway in February 2019 that only a few Ferrero factories were not halal certified, and the report said 19 plants and 33 products held halal certification at that time. The report does not say which plants supply the US, so it does not establish that US packs are certified.
What to check before you order
Look for a halal logo on the box itself, since the US website does not claim one. Check other Ferrero Rocher varieties and gift assortments separately, since the ingredients differ.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
