Is Honey Maid halal?
Honey Maid graham crackers carry no halal certification in the US. The official ingredient list shows no gelatin, lard or other animal ingredient apart from honey.
The longer answer
The ingredient list for Honey Maid Graham Crackers on Mondelez's Snackworks site (checked October 2026) is unbleached enriched flour, graham flour, sugar, soybean and/or canola oil, honey, leavening, salt, soy lecithin and artificial flavor. The allergen line names wheat and soy only. No gelatin, animal fat or dairy is listed.
Mondelez's corporate halal page says the company weighs religious requirements such as halal market by market, that certification is run through outside agencies, and that consumers should check the ingredients and label. It does not list which products are certified.
We found no halal certification for Honey Maid in the US. We checked the plain honey grahams only; cinnamon, chocolate and other varieties have their own ingredient lists.
What to check before you order
Check the list on the variety you buy. If you are making s'mores, check the marshmallows separately for gelatin.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
