Is Jolly Rancher halal?
Jolly Rancher makes no halal claim; Hershey's pages list no gelatin in the hard candy or original gummies we checked.
The longer answer
Hershey's Jolly Rancher page (checked October 2026) says the candies are not vegan, without giving the reason, and says nothing about halal. Hershey's product page for Original Flavors hard candy lists sugar, corn syrup, modified cornstarch, malic acid, flavors and artificial colors and shows the OU kosher mark. The page for Original Flavors Gummies lists sugar, corn syrup, modified cornstarch, flavors, mineral oil, carnauba wax and colors, with no gelatin. Hershey's general FAQ links to kosher and vegan product lists but has no halal entry, and we found no halal certifier for Jolly Rancher.
What to check before you order
Ingredient lists differ across Jolly Rancher hard candy, gummies, chews and lollipops, so read the line on the bag for gelatin. There is no halal mark.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
