Is Keebler halal?

No halal claim

Keebler cookies make no halal claim. The brand says they are certified Kosher Dairy and vegetarian suitable, with no meat, poultry or fish.

The longer answer

Keebler cookies, cones and pie crusts are owned by Ferrero. The Keebler FAQ (checked October 2026) says: "Keebler cookies are certified Kosher Dairy." It also says: "Keebler cookies are vegetarian suitable and do not contain meat, poultry or fish." The cookies are not vegan. The FAQ does not mention halal.

The ingredient panel Keebler posts for Fudge Stripes Original lists enriched flour, sugar, vegetable oil (soybean, palm kernel and palm), invert sugar, cocoa processed with alkali, whey, salt, leavening, sorbitan tristearate, molasses, soy lecithin and natural and artificial flavors. No gelatin or animal fat is listed.

The FAQ also notes that Keebler crackers and sandwich crackers are made by Kellogg's, not Ferrero, so nothing here covers them. We found no halal certification for Keebler cookies.

What to check before you order

Look for the kosher dairy mark and read the list on the exact cookie. Keebler-branded crackers come from a different company and need their own check.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
