Snacks, candy and pantry

Is KIND halal?

No halal claim

KIND says its snacks are kosher certified by the Orthodox Union, but it makes no halal claim and we found no halal certification for KIND bars.

The longer answer

KIND's FAQ (checked October 2026) says its snacks "are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union". Products without dairy carry an OU symbol and those with dairy, or exposed to it in production, carry OU-D. Kosher certification is a separate standard from halal.

The same FAQ says some KIND products contain honey and milk. KIND describes its nut bars as nuts mixed with fruits and spices and bound with honey. The FAQ has no question about halal or gelatin.

We could not load KIND's individual product ingredient pages during this check, so we have not confirmed the full ingredient list of any single bar. We found no halal statement or certification from KIND.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient list on the bar itself, since we could not verify individual recipes. Coated, yogurt and frozen varieties are the ones most worth a careful read.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
