Is Life Savers halal?

No halal claim

Life Savers Gummies contain gelatin with no source stated on the ingredient list. We could not confirm any halal claim for the brand.

The longer answer

We could not reach an official Life Savers ingredient page: the lifesavers.com address no longer leads to a brand site, and the Mars pages we tried did not load. The details below come from US grocery retailer listings read in October 2026, not from the maker directly.

Hannaford's listing for Life Savers 5 Flavors Gummies gives the ingredients as corn syrup, sugar, water, modified cornstarch, gelatin, and less than 2% of citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, mineral oil, colors (Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1) and carnauba wax. Stop and Shop's listing for the family size bag shows the same list. Neither says what animal the gelatin comes from.

We were not able to read an ingredient list for Life Savers hard candy or mints, so this entry does not cover them. We found no halal statement for Life Savers.

What to check before you order

Avoid the Gummies unless the gelatin source is confirmed. For the hard candy rolls and mints, read the ingredient list on the pack, as we could not verify it.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
