Is Reese's halal?
Reese's makes no halal claim; Hershey's ingredient list for the peanut butter cups shows no gelatin.
The longer answer
Hershey's product page for Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (checked October 2026) lists milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, chocolate, skim milk, milk fat, lactose, soy lecithin, PGPR), peanuts, sugar, dextrose, salt, TBHQ and citric acid. Hershey's Reese's page says only the Plant Based bars are vegan. Hershey states that nearly all of its chocolate products are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. Hershey's FAQ has no halal entry and we found no halal certifier for Reese's.
What to check before you order
Seasonal shapes and other Reese's products have different ingredient lists, so read the line on the pack. There is no halal mark.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
