Is Ritz halal?

No halal claim

Ritz makes no halal claim; its US brand page does not mention halal.

The longer answer

The Ritz US brand page on Snackworks (checked October 2026) does not mention halal. Mondelez International's published position on halal says the company considers religious food requirements when deciding what to offer in a specific market, that halal certification is managed through external agencies whose requirements vary by agency and country, and that "the best thing for consumers to do is to check the ingredients and the label". We found no halal certifier named for US Ritz crackers. These pages do not state the source of any enzymes, dairy ingredients or flavors used in the crackers.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient list of the variety you are buying and look for a certifier's mark.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
