Is Snickers halal?

No halal claim

Snickers makes no halal claim in the US; Mars says only that Snickers sold in the Middle East and North Africa are halal suitable.

The longer answer

The US Snickers Contact & Help page (checked October 2026) has questions on ingredients, GMOs, freshness, samples and coupons, and none mentions halal. It directs shoppers to the ingredient declaration on the pack as the most accurate information. The Snickers Middle East and North Africa site states: "Yes, all Snickers products sold in the MENA region are halal suitable." That statement is limited to that region. We found no halal certifier for Snickers made for the US.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient line on the US bar. A halal statement on an imported bar or a foreign Snickers site does not apply to US-made bars.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
