Is Trident gum halal?

No halal claim

Trident says its gum is not certified halal.

The longer answer

The Trident US FAQ (checked October 2026) says: "Trident Gum products are not presently certified for either Halal or Kosher diets." On vegetarian and vegan diets it says all ingredients are on the packaging and that the company has not assessed the products against a vegetarian or vegan claim. The FAQ does not state the source of the gum base, glycerin or any gelatin. The US site carries a Perfetti Van Melle copyright notice.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient list on the pack for gelatin and note there is no halal mark.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
