Is Twix halal?

No halal claim

Twix makes no halal claim in the US; Mars says only that Twix sold in the Middle East and North Africa are halal suitable.

The longer answer

The US Twix Contact & Help page (checked October 2026) answers questions on ingredients, GMOs, freshness and where products are made, and says nothing about halal. It points to the ingredient declaration on the pack as the most accurate information. The Twix Middle East and North Africa site states: "Yes, all Twix products sold in the MENA region are halal suitable." That statement is limited to that region. We found no halal certifier for Twix made for the US.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient line on the US pack. A halal statement on an imported pack or a foreign Twix site does not apply to US-made Twix.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
