Is Twizzlers halal?

No halal claim

Twizzlers make no halal claim; Hershey's ingredient list for Strawberry Twists has no gelatin or carmine.

The longer answer

Hershey's product page for Twizzlers Twists Strawberry (checked October 2026) lists corn syrup, enriched wheat flour, sugar, cornstarch, palm oil, salt, artificial flavor, citric acid, mineral oil, Red 40 and lecithin. Gelatin and carmine are not listed. Hershey's FAQ page links to kosher and vegan product lists and has no halal entry. We found no halal certifier for Twizzlers. Filled and other Twizzlers varieties have their own ingredient lists.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient line on the variety you buy; filled and gummy-style Twizzlers can differ from the classic twists. No halal mark is used.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
