Is YumEarth halal?

No halal claim

Most YumEarth candy we checked is vegan or made with pectin, but YumEarth Gummy Bears contain gelatin of unstated source. No halal claim found.

The longer answer

YumEarth's product pages (checked October 2026) show a clear split between products. The Organic Fruit Snacks are set with pectin: organic rice syrup, organic cane sugar, water, pectin, organic natural flavors, vitamin C, sodium citrate, citric acid, fruit and vegetable colors and malic acid. The Organic Vitamin C Lollipops are described as "vegan and kosher", and Organic Giggles list no gelatin.

The Assorted Flavor Gummy Bears are different. Their ingredient list is organic rice syrup, organic cane sugar, gelatin, apple juice concentrate, citric acid, ascorbic acid, natural flavors, plant based colors, organic carnauba wax and organic sunflower oil. The page does not say what animal the gelatin comes from.

We found no halal statement on the YumEarth pages we read. The company's help center did not load for us, so we could not check whether it answers the question there.

What to check before you order

Check for the word gelatin on gummy bears and any other gummy product. The lollipops, fruit snacks and Giggles we checked list none.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
