Is Myprotein halal?

No halal claim

Myprotein's US site makes no halal claim. Its UK site lists halal-certified options for specific flavors, which does not automatically apply to US products.

The longer answer

On Myprotein's US site (checked October 2026), the Impact Whey Protein page describes the product as vegetarian and Informed Choice certified. The Chocolate Brownie flavor lists whey protein concentrate, sunflower lecithin, natural and artificial flavor, cocoa, modified food starch, sucralose, acesulfame potassium and salt. We saw no halal or kosher statement on that page, and the US quality page names third-party testing with Informed Choice, Informed Protein and NSF but not halal.

Myprotein's UK site is different. It has a Halal Certification page offering "Halal-certified options now available at Myprotein", covering Impact Whey Protein, Impact Whey Isolate, some Clear Whey, creatine and pre-workout products. It warns that "certification applies only to the specific flavours identified on each product page." The page does not name the certifying body.

UK products are made and labeled for that market. Nothing we read says the US versions carry the same certification.

What to check before you order

In the US, check the tub and the product page for a halal logo and do not rely on the UK list. In the UK, confirm the exact flavor and size is marked halal certified on its product page.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
