Is Premier Protein halal?
Premier Protein makes no halal claim. Its Chocolate shake is milk protein based with no gelatin listed, and the pages we read do not mention halal.
The longer answer
We read Premier Protein's Chocolate Protein Shake page and its shakes overview page in October 2026. Neither mentions halal, and there is no FAQ on the subject.
The Chocolate shake's ingredients are filtered water, milk protein concentrate, calcium caseinate, cocoa powder, and less than 1% of sunflower or soybean oil, natural and artificial flavors, cellulose gel and gum, salt, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, carrageenan, phosphates and a vitamin and mineral blend. It contains milk and soy. No gelatin or other obvious meat-derived ingredient is listed.
The label does not explain what is in the natural and artificial flavors. We found no halal certification from Premier Protein.
What to check before you order
Read the ingredients on the flavor you buy, since recipes vary between shakes, powders and bars. No halal logo is offered, so the decision rests on the ingredient list.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
