Is Aldi (US) halal?

No halal claim

Aldi US makes no halal claim that we found; a search for "halal" on aldi.us returns no product labeled halal.

The longer answer

A product search for "halal" on aldi.us (checked October 2026) returned loosely related items such as lamb loin chops, shawarma-style beef, pita bread and curry sauce, and none of the product names contained the word halal. The Never Any! Lamb Loin Chops product page we opened does not mention halal or a certifier. We found no Aldi US statement about halal sourcing or certification. The search reflects one store's online catalog, so it does not rule out a halal-marked package on a shelf elsewhere.

What to check before you order

There is no halal program to check. If a package in store carries a halal logo, read which certifier issued it.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
