Is Beyond Meat halal?
Islamic Services of America says it certifies Beyond Burger, Beyond Beef, Beyond Sausage and other named products; Beyond Meat's own FAQ does not mention halal.
The longer answer
In a May 2021 announcement, Islamic Services of America (ISA) listed the Beyond Meat products it had certified halal: Beyond Burger, Beyond Beef, Beyond Beef Crumbles, Beyond Meatballs, Beyond Sausage, Beyond Breakfast Sausage patties and links, and Beyond Sausage Crumbles. An ISA article read in October 2026 still names Beyond Meat among its certified US brands. Beyond Meat's own FAQ page and Beyond Burger product page (checked October 2026) do not mention halal. Products launched after 2021 are not on the ISA list we read, so their status is not documented.
What to check before you order
Look for the ISA halal mark on the specific package. At a restaurant, the patty may be certified while the grill, bun and toppings are not, so ask how it is cooked.
