Is Enfamil halal?

Some items or locations

Enfamil labels a few US products halal on its website, such as NeuroPro EnfaCare, but names no certifier and has no general halal statement for the range.

The longer answer

Enfamil's US Help Center (checked October 2026) has no question about halal, and its nutrients and ingredients section does not mention it either.

Some individual product pages do. The page for Enfamil Liquid Human Milk Fortifier High Protein lists "Kosher, Halal" among the product points. On the Enfamil NeuroPro EnfaCare page, the text attached to a product image reads "non GMO, kosher & halal, no known sources of gluten."

None of these pages names a halal certifier, and Enfamil makes no range-wide halal statement that we could find. On that basis the claim applies to the specific products that carry it, not to Enfamil as a whole.

What to check before you order

Check the product page and the can for the exact formula you buy, since Enfamil marks halal product by product. Contact Mead Johnson if you need the name of the certifying body.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
