Is International Delight halal?
International Delight makes no halal claim. Its creamers are kosher dairy (OU-D) and list mono and diglycerides and flavors without stating their source.
The longer answer
International Delight's FAQ (checked October 2026) does not mention halal. On kosher status it says: "Yes, the package is labeled with the OU-D symbol." Kosher certification is not the same as halal certification.
The product page for French Vanilla creamer lists water, sugar, palm oil, and 2% or less of sodium caseinate (a milk derivative), dipotassium phosphate, carrageenan, mono and diglycerides, natural and artificial flavors, sodium stearoyl lactylate and salt. There is no gelatin. The source of the mono and diglycerides and of the flavors is not given on the page.
We found no halal certification claim from International Delight. The brand sells many seasonal and licensed flavors, and we read the ingredients of one.
What to check before you order
Read the label of the exact flavor. The points the label leaves open are the source of the mono and diglycerides and what is in the natural and artificial flavors.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
