Is Just Bare halal?

No halal claim

Just Bare makes no halal claim. Its FAQ covers humane and organic certification but not halal, and a search of its site for halal finds nothing.

The longer answer

Just Bare's FAQ page (checked October 2026) explains its American Humane Certified and USDA organic labels, what "all natural" means and how to store and cook its products. It does not mention halal, slaughter method or any religious certification. A search for "halal" on the site returns "Nothing Found".

The humane certification the brand advertises is an animal welfare audit. It is not a halal certification and says nothing about how the birds are slaughtered.

The same FAQ shows that the brand now also sells fresh pork and beef alongside chicken, so the name on the pack does not tell you the meat. The FAQ states that the fresh chicken, beef and pork products contain no added solution or ingredients.

What to check before you order

Check the package for a halal certifier's mark; we found none claimed. Read the front of the pack as well, since Just Bare sells pork as well as chicken.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
